Oquirrh Mountain Temple Dedication

We (Me, Jordan, Jacob and Joy) went to the 9:00am temple dedication at our stake center. It is a special thing to be able to be an extension of the temple and here some great talks about temples. Marge Lifferth spoke on listening to the spirit and talked a bit about children listening to their parents and not questioning them. The savior is our example in listening (hearkening) to our Father in Heaven and not asking why. Our Heavenly Father wants what is best for us, just as we as parents want what is best for our children. We are so lucky to live so close to so many temples. President Uctdorf?? talked about the pioneers that came and settled Utah and how going to the temple was measured in days and weeks and we can measure the time it takes to get to the temple in minutes. Where much is given much is required.

I have included some pictures that I found of the temple that I liked.

Vernal plants hundreds of pots with petunias each year. They run from the beginning of town on Hwy 40, down Main Street and out to Hwy 40 on the other end of town. It is an amazing display of color the pots are huge and overflowing.
